We know eating healthy can be a hard task sometimes that’s why at The London Styler we try and take your favourite unhealthy treats and make them as healthy as possible. Take this brownie recipe for instance, it’s made with natural ingredients and a wholesome heart. It’s very quick and easy to make, so it is perfect for everyone.
What you will need…
1 tbsp of vanilla extract 1/2 cup of peanut butter 1/2 cup of maple syrup 1/4 cup of cocoa powder 1/2 cup of quinoa flour 1 1/2 tsp of baking soda 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder 1 tsp of cinnamon A pinch of sea salt Walnuts (optional)
Let’s get baking…
Preheat oven to 325 F and grease a 9×6 baking pan with coconut oil and set aside.
In a bowl mix your vanilla extract, peanut butter, maple syrup until properly mixed.
Gradually mix the cocoa powder, quinoa flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in with your wet ingredients.
Once all ingredients are properly mixed spread your brownie mixture into your ready to go baking dish. At this point, you can get creative and add any toppings. We opted for some roughly chopped walnuts.
Next pop them in the oven for 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 30 minutes, if you can resist (We usually can’t).
And voila! There you have a delicious batch of healthy vegan brownies!
